Hohfeld:
The 2 teenagers have the duty not to shoot Wilson. Wilson had the right to not be shot in the head. Police have the power to arrest the 2 teenagers. The teenagers have the liability to accept charges. The person responsible for giving the gun to the teenagers has the duty not to sell/give a gun to minors. The community has the right to feel safe without minors running around with guns.

Trump's entire campaign has been controversial from the start. There has been mixed comments on his presidential views, and his platform, some of which have both seen the negative and positive points. One thing for sure is that he is definitely a "marketing genius" (Globe and Mail, What Donald Trump’s Victory Means for Canada and the World , statement 7), and he was able to take the presidential race by storm. The result of presidency results will have an "enormous impact" (Globe and Mail, statement 20) on Canada and it's politics, particularly because of Trump's political attitude towards the environment. Obama's government focused greatly on the Paris climate accords as well as clean energy usage. This corresponds considerably with the Trudeau government and his efforts to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions within our country. With Trump's statements about climate change and global warming, Canada's efforts to decrease our environmental footprint will be "less effective" (Globe and Mail, statement 20) without the common intentions from our neighbours. Using Hagan's Pyramid, I analyzed this article and defined Trump's view on Global Warming and it's effect on Canada as a conflict crime, even though its not a crime, it is somewhat harmful and there seems to be a high disagreement about the subject. |
